Nancy Dionizio is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor of the Waterbury Clinic. She received a bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut in 2003. She then received a master’s in Community Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University in 2009.
Nancy worked at St. Joseph’s Manor in Trumbull, Connecticut as a Social Worker from 1998 to 2011. She then worked as a Senior Clinician from 2011 to 2014 in the IICAPS program at Wellmore Behavioral Health in Waterbury, Connecticut where she provided in home intensive child and adolescent psychiatric services. She then worked as the Nurturing Families Team Leader at Wellmore from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, she moved into the IICAPS Team Leader position where she provided supervision and training to staff and collaborated with families and providers to assist with access to services.
Nancy is trilingual and speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish. She provides initial evaluations for clients who wish to receive services at the agency and oversees the staff in the Waterbury clinic.
