Monique Brown is a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate and Clinician at the agency.  Monique received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut in May of 2016 and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University in May of 2019.  While pursuing her master’s degree, Monique was involved in the International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society.

Monique completed an internship at the Child Guidance Clinic at Central Connecticut State University where she utilized evidenced based practices with individuals and families.  She worked at the Clifford Beers Clinic in Connecticut as a Child First Clinician, in which she provided individual and family psychotherapy, created individualized treatment plans for clients and worked alongside a Care Coordinator to assess and meet client’s needs.  Since joining Perspectives, she has provided mental health and substance abuse services to clientele with various mental health or co-occurring diagnoses.  Monique facilitates individual, couples, family and group therapy with an individualized treatment plan developed in collaboration with the clients to assist in meeting goals.
