Aida Morales is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor of the Meriden Clinic.  She is trilingual, fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.  She received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Italian from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York in June of 2016 and a master’s degree in Community-Clinical Psychology from the University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut in May of 2018.  Aida obtained a Graduate Certificate in Professional Mental Health Counseling in August of 2019.

Aida worked as an Eating Disorder Milieu Counselor at the Center for Discovery in Southport, Connecticut in 2017, where she worked collaboratively with clients, therapists and nutritionists on development treatment plans, monitored client’s daily activities and encouraged appropriate eating behaviors and self-care, and provided crisis intervention with clients that displayed high risk behaviors.  She completed an internship in the ALIVE Program at the Post Traumatic Stress Center in New Haven, Connecticut from 2017 to 2018, where she provided clients with psychoeducation and awareness of abuse in the home, school and community.

Aida was a Family Support Specialist II at the Village for Families and Children in Hartford, Connecticut from 2018 to 2019 where she conducted intake assessments, provided case planning, developed treatment plans and ensured quality of services to support client success.  Aida was a Bilingual Clinician at Clifford Beers Autism Clinic in Hamden, Connecticut from 2019 to 2020 where she conducted intake interviews, biopsychosocial assessments, managed diagnoses and treatment plans, provided individual and family sessions and specialized in working with Autism, Intellectual Disability, and Developmental Delays.

Aida Morales is a triilingual Clinician and provides services in English, Spanish and Italian.
