Psychiatric APRN

APRN with specialization in Psychiatry.   Must be qualified to see children, adolescents and adults.

Provide direct service to clientele.

·         Coordinate care for caseload at contracted level

·         Provide Psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents and adults

·         Provide information to patients and family members regarding medications

·         Contribute to the achievement of program annual performance goals at contracted level

·         Provide contracted supplemental direct service as part of specialized function

Provide high quality clinical care.

·         Thoroughly assess information at intake, formulate accurate diagnostic impressions and appropriate treatment goals;  identify factors which may interfere with obtaining maximum benefits from treatment

Master’s Degree in Mental Health Field, such as MA, MED, MS, MSN, or MFT.  Licensed in CT as LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LADC.  Must be licensed for a minimum of 2 years.

 

Supervise clinical and administrative staff in outpatient clinic.

·         Directs the provision of client care and ensures practice in accordance with applicable standards

·         Directs efforts to maintain accreditation, increase volume and improve client satisfaction

·         Consistently monitors all performance to ensure quality of services provided to clientele

·         Monitors quality initiatives to ensure effectiveness of programs and outcomes

·         Supports clinical and administrative staff to attain goals of program

·         Provides clinical supervision to clinical staff in outpatient programs

·         Monitors staffing schedules to ensure that staffing is adequate in the facility at all times

Oversee direct service to clientele.

Intake and Scheduling Coordinator – Bilingual English and Spanish

Perform all telephone and walk-in intake assessments for patients.  Document all client inquiries and monitor wait lists.  Communicate all information regarding appointments in a timely manner.

 

Schedule patients and ensure that all schedules are accurate.  Schedule evaluations with Supervisor of Outpatient Services.  Notify Supervisor of Outpatient Services if a schedule is not filled.

 

Document insurance eligibility and benefits and ensure that pre-authorizations are performed and up to date.  Communicate all insurance information in a timely manner to clients and supervisor.

 

Ensure all documentation is accurate and current in EHRs.  Ensure timely input of client information into EHR.

 

Set up appointment reminders daily and ensure accuracy.  Monitor contact information that is not valid.

 

Register patients in the registration systems for applicable insurance or contract.

 

Monitor client attendance and ensure accuracy of documentation.  Ensure communication regarding attendance in a timely manner to clients and supervisor.

 

Attend required meetings and communicate with patients all recommendations that are pending.

Monitor compliance of treatment recommendations and document compliance and communication in EHRs.

 

Monitor attendance and compliance in EHR and follow up with patients who require appointments or chart closure.  Ensure all communication is sent to patients in a timely manner.

 

Monitor schedules and ensure accuracy.  Ensure that schedules are not unfilled and communicate with supervisor immediately of any errors or openings in schedules.  Schedule meetings and interviews with staff members.  Communicate with clinicians regarding changes in schedules and ensure that clinicians are following scheduling policies and procedures.

 

Monitor substance and prescriptions use reports, upload into client chart and communicate positive results to providers in a timely manner.

 

Monitor records requests and communicate information to Supervisor of Outpatient Services in a timely manner.

 

Communicate with providers and referral sources within the community to keep them updated on information regarding services.

 

Refer individuals to Supervisor of Outpatient Services for conflict resolution.
