Jacquelyn Meyer is an Advanced Practicing Registered Nurse. She is a Psychiatric Nurse at the agency. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut in 1989, and a Master’s of Science in Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut in 1992. She received a Post Master’s Certificate for Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Connecticut in 1997.
Jacquelyn Meyer worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Waterbury Hospital from 1992 to 2019. She developed protocols for the management of behavioral health patients in the emergency and inpatient departments. She has also created education models and protocols for staff on the use of psychiatric medications and behavioral management.
Jacquelyn works with client aged 18 or older. She provides medication management for mental health and co-occurring disorders.
