Amy Korte is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Chief Executive Officer of the agency.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida in May of 1993 and received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Joseph University in West Hartford, Connecticut in May of 2001.  Amy obtained licensure in the State of Connecticut in 2004.  She was the Executive Director of the Connecticut Association for Marriage and Family Therapy in 2002 and 2003.  Her experience includes mental health and substance abuse treatment in outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospital treatment settings.

Amy is an AAMFT Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor.  She is certified in Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) and is a certified Step-family Foundation Counselor.  She facilitates the Parent Education Program, the 6 hour program for parents involved in custody cases in the court system.  Amy specializes in Couples Counseling, Co-Parenting, and Parent Support.

Amy has training and experience in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Violence.
