Amanda Ayers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor for the Bristol Clinic.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Psychology from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts in 2012.  She then received a master’s in Social Work from the University of Connecticut in 2013.  Amanda became licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut in 2016.

Amanda was a Clinician for Functional Family Therapy from 2013 to 2017 where she provided in home family therapy utilizing evidence-based model treatments.  She provided clinical support to individuals and families and coordinated care with collaborative agencies such as school and court systems, and the Department of Children and Families.  She then supervised the in-home treatment from 2017 to 2018 as a Senior Clinician the Functional Family Therapy program.  From 2018 to 2020, Amanda worked in the program as a Team Leader.

Amanda has experience in family focused therapy, trauma informed care, clinical assessment and treatment and clinical supervision.
